I am a retired nurse (twenty-two years) from the San Diego Veterans Administration Healthcare System. I have been a member of the American Holistic Nurses’ Association (AHNA) since 1996. I served as the San Diego Chapter’s co-coordinator from 1998-2004 and served on the Leadership Council as the membership/networking coordinator from 2004-2008. I remain an active member of the AHNA. I bring to the Helios Warriors Board of Directors my passion for holistic health, leadership and networking skills as well as a deep understanding of how the Veterans Administration works. I support the mission of Helios Warriors in bringing holistic modalities to veterans on their path to health.
Allen Brasington III, Director of Community Outreach for a local chiropractic practice.
Allen's primary duty is to work within the community and increase awareness of the benefits of Chiropractic care. He also directs the practice's many charitable fund raising and community activities. A graduate of Francis Marion University in Political Science & Mass Communication, he worked as a Realtor & Auctioneer for a decade before moving to Asheville in 2008. Passionate about HELIO Warriors because of his families long history of military and public service (his father is a retired Marine, six of his siblings and/or their spouses have served. His Grandfather was killed in Service during the Korean Era).
